Next 2 The Tracks: Rising from the heart of the rugged southwest with looks to fit, Next 2 the Tracks is rock & roll at its roots! No gimmicks or need for hype, just groove, great songwriting and sexy guitar riffs. All three members met in El Paso TX, and Albuquerque, NM beginning in the fall of 2005, and have been making music and touring together ever since. Featuring Christian Talamantes (vocals), Jonny Bang (bas s), and Todd Seelau (drums); the Track’s sound shows the influence of some of the best blues based rock groups ever i.e., Led Zeppelin, Guns N Roses, The Black Crowes, with hints of the bands Latino roots. "Next 2 the Tracks" independently released their debut CD Rain in 2005 and went on to win the Best Pop/Rock band award at the New York International Music Festival. They returned to the studio in 2008 to record The Caballo de Lumbre EP which features only hand percussion and a large dose of acoustic guitar. Caballo de Lumbre was recorded in Hollywood, CA and features well known Los Angeles produce/engineer Dave Dominguez (Guns n Roses, Staind, Papa Roach). Next 2 the Tracks is currently working on songs for their third studio recording which like Caballo, will feature songs heavily influenced by the American Southwest. "Our goal is to take the beauty, and culture of the Southwest to the world. We love the mix of Mexican American, Native American, Cowboy and Spanish cultures that make up this region of the U.S. Our landscapes are like no other in the world. The beauty of the desert, mountains, forests and all of their amazing wildlife are a real inspiration to our music."
Charlie Rey: From the moment 21-year-old Long Beach CA native Charlie Rey first picked up a guitar, he knew he wanted to spend his life making music. After ten years of playing with different bands and writing different styles of music, in 2011 Charlie released his first EP 'This Isn't What I Had in Mind," recorded at Santa Monica's famous 4th St. Studio. Charlie has been playing at many popular venues across southern California. You can catch him on NBC's "The Voice" season 3. Charlie is really enjoying playing his music and watching his crowd of fans grow.
Spaceship : Made with parts from TX and CA, this SpaceShip was built on the beach in Los Angeles, CA. A fusion of rock and classical training, the music is intergalactic. Currently working on their debut album at Universal Studios, SpaceShip is preparing for docking in Dubai, New York and LA.
