Moshav : Raised in Israel on Moshav Mevo Modiin, a musical village in the hills betweenJerusalem and Tel Aviv, Yehuda (vocals, percussion) and Duvid (vocals, guitar) learned and played music togehter since childhood. Their American parents had come to Israel in the early 70’s. “When we were growing up”, explains Duvid, “the only electrical appliance in the house was a record player. So, while American kids might be growing up watching television and playing video games, we were listening to the records our parents brought with them- Bob Dylan, Van Morrison and Neil Young. Eventually, American students traveling in Israel heard them play and befriended the members of the band. Taken not only with the beauty of their music, but the band members’ charismatic stage presence, these young kids from the U.S. went back to the States and raised the money to bring MOSHAV to America for college tours in the late 1990’s. By 2000 the band had relocated to Los Angeles. Continuously touring across the United States and the world, including festivals in Australia, Canada and Europe, MOSHAV built a large following. After releasing and selling close to 50,000 of their self produced albums- the band eventually caught the eye of producer Ron Aniello (Lifehouse, Guster, Barenaked Ladies). Together they recorded the album, MISPLACED in 2006. Reviews for the record were highly favorable and the group toured heavily before teaming up again, in 2010, with Ron Aniello and Clif Norrell ( R.E.M., Jeff Buckley, Sting) to create their latest album- DANCING IN A DANGEROUS WORLD. The first single from their new album is currently being played, on heavy rotation, on Israeli radio. The band is excited to hit the road to share their latest material.

Yael Meyer: Kings of Convenience might as well have started a sonic revolution by coining the term “quiet is the new loud”. In a few words, this might be a good way to describe the music of indie star Yael Meyer. Compared to artists such as Jose Gonzalez, Jack Johnson, Feist and Death Cab For Cutie, her new album “Everything Will Be Alright” released November 15, 2011 on her own label Kli Records, debuted at the top of the charts on various national radio stations (USA) entering the top 200 CMJ charts it’s first week after release where it stayed for several weeks thereafter. The album was also featured as New & Noteworthy on i-Tunes homepage and appeared on several best of 2011 lists including Chile’s Radio Horizonte Top 75 albums of 2011. SPIN Magazine praised the songs on Everything Will Be Alright, Yael’s newest release as “artful simplicity, offering refuge from modern anxiety”, while The Wall Street Journal hails it one of the best female releases of 2011 stating “2011 has been an exceptional year in rock and pop…with superior albums by Adele…Feist, P.J. Harvey…St. Vincent…Add Yael Meyer and her new ‘Everything Will Be Alright’ to that list”. Her songs have appeared on several prime time TV shows including “Drop Dead Diva”, “Private Practice”, “Life Unexpected” and “Awkward” and various films including “El Brindis”, and the sequels “Que Pena Tu Boda” and “Que Pena Tu Vida” (“F*** My Life”) by Chilean film-maker Nicolás López, both of which feature several of Yael’s songs in the soundtrack and went on to become the highest grossing films of 2010 and 2011 respectively (Chile). Based in L.A. Yael has toured the U.S, Europe and South America having recently returned to the U.S. after a 2 month tour of her native Chile where she played several sold-out dates culminating with a performance at the famed festival Lollapalooza Chile 2012 alongside the hottest acts in music today including, Foster The People, Bjork, Band of Horses, MGMT and Skrillex. Her outstanding performance set her apart as an artist to watch, earning her praise as one of the best shows of the festival by critics and audiences alike.
