Jackie Kashian: Jackie Kashian has been a national touring comic for over 15 years. She has her own half hour special on Comedy Central, was a semi-finalist on Last Comic Standing, has been on This American Life with Ira Glass and recently killed on Conan. Her latest CD, “It is Never Going to Be Bread” was one of the Top 10 comedy albums on Amazon in 2010. She has a weekly podcast, The Dork Forest, where she interviews people about their obsessions.
Laura Hughes: Laura Hughes is an Australian Comedian, Writer and Actor. After winning the Green Card lottery in 2011, Laura now splits her time between LA and Sydney. Laura completed her BA in Acting at Charles Sturt University, and has professional experience in TV, Film and stage in both Australia and LA. After being inspired by the caliber of comedy in Australia, Laura decided to venture into the world of Stand-Up. She entered herself into the RAW Comedy Competition and was surprised to see herself winning the NSW State final, and then as a National Grand finalist in Melbourne, as the performance to a crowd of 1500 was only her 4th. Since then, Laura has performed extensively throughout Sydney, and all around LA. In 2012, Laura was chosen as an upcoming Comedian to watch and asked to perform at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival as a part of ‘The Comedy Zone’.
