Shawn Michael Perry:

Shawn Michael Perry's current album was NAMMY nominated at the Native American Music Awards 2013 for "Best Album of The Year" and "Best Producer of the Year". Such an accomplishment for Shawn writes & co-produces all his own material. Shawn is currently recording his new songs for his upcoming album release "Hungry 4 Heroes". Rooted deep in a psychedelic past, a time when the Allman Brothers and Parliament Funkadelic brought us to the bayou and beamed us up to the Mothership, MOONROOF emerged from the stardust in the year 2012 and landed in the heart of downtown Los Angeles with a flight case full of vibratory healing. The blues made them tough, the funk brought “the stuff,” big bites of jazz for those who dug class, and they made it poppy so you could shake your ass. Now MOONROOF is rising, with fertile grounds for a new sound that only these four have found. Singer Ethan Fox Tucker sprouted from the fungal forests of Portland, Oregon with a keen ear and fully loaded mutton-funk bass chops. Guitarist Tyler Nuffer, a San Diegan blues ripper, will have mastered the guitar by age thirty-three, guaranteed, only ten more years to seal the deed. Jake Brougham finds new tunings, using blues, rock and roll, and African grooves to set a San Fran oceanic mood. Slam McAdam hits hard, really fucking hard, a metal man in a jazz can, the best beats in the Southland. Dig. Now dig deeper.
"Nebraskan-born singer Ms. Moxie, met multi-instrumentalist Tony Brucco in Southern California, and the two began writing songs in May 2011. During the creative process Brucco gravitated towards the bass, instead of guitar, and Moxie instinctively wove her lyrics and melodies in and around the funky groove. The music tips its hat to Stax Records, Michael Jackson and Steely Dan, but this unique interplay of the voice and bass that sparked the origin of the songs bears a fresh and authentic sound. The real treat is Moxie’s voice and her saucy delivery of the smart and sexy lyrics. Her nickname is spot on: this woman has moxie and lots of it. Her vocal performances are bold and engaging, courageous and cheeky. You get the feeling that if Ms. Moxie wants something, she’s going to get it."
Sista Jeans Blues Machine:
Sista Jean makes no bones about what she wants to sing about. Whether its Americana.Blues,Rock,R&B, or Jazz, her stories come in many colors and rhythms. Influenced by the west coast sound, her presence is amazing. She started as a BG singer for the studios in Los Angeles over 20 years ago and still has the fire inside to groove with the best in the business.
