Leonel was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At the teen age of 13, he emigrated to the U.S. and spent much of his adult life living in New York. Today, Leonel resides in Los Angeles, CA. This singer-song writer found relief in the art of composing, and since then knew this would be his calling.- 'If there is someone who wants to listen, let them hear what I have to say, and not to what others have said ", quoted in an interview. His lyrics touch the hearts of many, and his audience, diverse in different ages. His love and influences are the Tango and Rock n Roll, which become present at the time of composing and performing. He has recorded 5 albums with his prior band "EL LEÓN". In the beginning of 2010, he decided to go solo, leaving behind the band that for him had gone on a well deserved permanent vacation. We invite you to join him in his new journey, and hope you can discover in him and in his songs, what we already have found.
WYATT is the new project from celebrated NYC-based singer/songwriter Maddy Wyatt. What began as a solo effort has morphed into a collaborative project with brothers Paul and ALex Wyatt and keyboardist Dana Haynes. The band has toured nationally, performed at acclaimed music festivals SXSW, CMJ, and The Rocky Mountain Folks Fest, and earned kudos from the likes of Deli Magazine, The LA Examiner and Time Out NY, who says "their lack of pretension and simple melodies are reminiscent of Mirah."
sami.the.great has been lauded for her intricate pop songs and her portrayal of emotion and wit. Daytrotter says, "her music harkens to old-time pop and soul songs - those that the Supremes and the Temptations wrote, those that are in over the moon about that tender touch and the pretty batting of eyes, of entendres and innuendos," while music blog PopMatters calls her "a real artist to watch for in this New Year."
