  • The Rhythm Section

    The Rhythm Section

Playing an eclectic blend of Soul, Funk, Jazz, and Rock, The Rhythm Section is sure to make you jump up and feel the beat. Formed in 2010 out of the rhythm section of their high school jazz band, the group has since grown to include keyboards and a complete horn section. The band’s shows always offer fresh interpretations of classic tracks and unique arrangements of their own, certain to get you out of your seat and moving with the music. Each member is uniquely gifted on their own instrument and will dazzle you with solos well beyond their years, but the band prides itself on sticking to an in-the-pocket groove that constantly drives the music forward. Influenced by The Meters, P-Funk, and newer groups such as Soulive and Lettuce, The Rhythm Section is a fast-rising original act in the Los Angeles music scene that you can’t afford to miss.

  • Angela Lazon

    Angela Lazon

Angela Lazon is a Native American recording artist, of Apache and Ojibwe descent. Her music is modern, and is inspired by everyday people and everyday love. Her new release, "Natural" introduces a new facet for Angela; a "re-birthing" of sorts for this most talented of artists. Angela Lazon could very well be Native America's first truly "mainstream" artist. Angela was born in Las Vegas Nevada. She is White Mountain Apache and Lac Courte Orilles Ojibwe. She knew early on that she liked to perform. She became a dancer and danced in several Las Vegas shows. A good friend and mentor Wayne Waters saw something else in her, a singer. He tried gently to push her but she at first she had terrible stage fright. Later on she ran into Wayne again, but thi s time she did sing. He used her on three songs. Two by King Jay and one by Sodier Brown. It was a starting point for Angela, but she didnt take her singing career seriously till her best friend heard her sing Silent Night to her children. Her friend was in tears, and soon after that Angela sang in front of others and they cried too. It was then Angela realized she must be able to sing. The first place Angela sang was Ceasars Palace on Christmas eve and got a standing ovation. Angela now records with recording artists Diego Bennett, Talbit Snow, and Toto Zara,TJ Marlatt, Allen Tafoya, Mike Genova and has worked with musicians such as Kelly Garney, Lynnwood Belle, David Suzuki, Brian Kelly, Howi Rice, and of course Wayne Waters and many others. Angela would like to be the first native American on the top forty charts in 25 years. Angela donates some of her time to native causes and still manages to spend time being a single mom. .. ..........

An Alternative Rock band that creates music for you. Our upcoming album is sure to make you bob your head then get up and dance. Biography In August of 2009, this Alternative Rock band released a 5-song EP and after only one month they landed a record deal with label Tate Music Group. Stripe Coats’ sound has been described as an alternative vibe that results in a mix of Coldplay and The Script. On August 3rd of 2010, Stripe Coats released their 11-song album under the band name Kaden. This album features artists such as guitarist Mi chael Thompson (Michael Jackson, Christina Aguilera), and drummer John Robinson (Quincy Jones, Elton John). The album also contains three songs that were recorded and produced by Producer Wyn Davis (No Doubt, Sublime). Wyn Davis said, “Stripe Coats is one of the most promising new bands to come through Total Access [Studios] in a long time. After doing records and watching young bands enter and exit the studio for over 30 years, it is STILL very exciting to work with a band that brings so much love, passion, and skill to what they do.” On July 3rd of 2010 Stripe Coats had the privilege of opening for the popular band Leeland at Freedom Celebration in Cerritos Stadium in California, where more than 18,000 people attended. Stripe Coats’ songs are on rotation on Live 365 Internet Radio, and TMG Internet Radio. Their songs have also been featured on Alcoa Tennessee’s Love 89.1 Radio and on hundreds of other radio stations, such as Refuge, CSN, and WCTL. Their album promo commercial has aired on MTV.
