Performing Artists (Click on Artist for Reviews and Previews)
  • Thrift

Based out of Southern California, Thrift is characterized by noisy garage rock tones mixed with pulsating rhythms and powerhouse vocals. The band aims to captivate audiences and listeners with their easily distinguishable sound. Anna Carmela (bass and vocals) refers to their style as "dirty disco," or, in other words, garage rock-meets-pop. Thrift seeks to grip audiences and listeners alike with the in-your-face production style, lead vocal intensity, wailing bass and guitar hooks, and fierce live performances.

  • SAGE

Most young female singers of today get their start on YouTube playing acoustic covers of hits and idolizing figures like Marilyn Monroe — this is quite the opposite of up-and-coming singer/songstress Sage, who instead pulls her musical inspiration from pop legends like Michael Jackson and emo-rock royalty groups like My Chemical Romance. This makes for the perfect mix of melodic pop music with equal parts honesty and edge, mixed with sophisticated lyrics on par with Taylor Swift overtop Beyonce beats.

    Angie of WhatAngieSays

As the daughter of a songwriter/producer— Angie of the music blog WhatAngieSays knew she’d most likely land somewhere in the world of entertainment. Her father is largely responsible for Angie’s obsession with music — Having written and produced songs for artists all the way from Smokey Robinson to 80’s Pop Icon Tiffany — she learned everything she knows about music from sitting in his studio and from his life lessons “according to the Beatles.” Angie became a music journalist in order to introduce what she felt was good music to the world. She is now a regular music contributor to digital magazines such as: Galore, The Plaid Zebra, The Huffington Post, Paste, LadyGUNN, Inked, Nylon, Alt Press and more. Her music blog can be found at and her concert excursions can be followed @Whatangiesays on Instagram.
