  • Gregory Ackerman

    Gregory Ackerman

Gregory Ackerman is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist from the Los Angeles area. Gregory takes after the vibe of the Laurel Canyon scene (i.e. Stephen Stills, Neil Young, Graham Nash, etc.), and his music reflects his views on the world, the people of the world, and the current events that define the world’s history through an easy-to-listen-to acoustic vibe. Gregory Ackerman just finished his debut album, “And Friends”, which is TBR Spring 2018.

Gregory released a handful of singles (unrelated to album) over the summer on Spotify in anticipation of his new album. He continues to write music and record demos prolifically in preparation for future albums.
Gregory began touring his new album this summer, and has played at venues such as The Mint, LA, SofarSoundsSF, and The MilkBar SF, Bottom of The Hill SF, and The Satellite LA. He continues to create and spread his music.
'"Walking in Sunlight" has a freewheeling groove that's hard to resist. It's a perfect song for the sultry midsummer heat.' - Adobe and Teardrops

  • Ashton York

    Ashton York

Ashton York is a Southern California based singer songwriter. Originally from a small town in the Bay Area, Ashton’s music reflects a slower pace through his melancholy melodies, thoughtful lyrics, and laid back tempos. His debut album, titled “You Are My Sanity”, is set to release Winter of 2017. It’s raw production and minimalistic approach lends to the heart of each song while providing the listener with an honest and relatable experience.
Ashton’s sound ranges from folk acoustic to contemporary pop with nuances of post-rock. He has written and recorded on three projects, and has been performing from the age of 14. More recently, Ashton has released several successful music videos, live performance videos, and two singles. He performs regularly at Southern CA venues such as Hotel Cafe, The Mint, Soho, etc.

  • Alphanaut

Alphanaut is the musical brainchild of Los Angeles based singer-songwriter Mark Alan. Formed in 2008, the project was conceived as a musical collective with Alan coordinating the talents of a wide variety of musician friends and acquaintances.
Now backed by a six member band, Mark and the group are now moving into performance mode booking gigs for the remainder of 2017 and into the New Year.
Raised near Seattle, Mark spent time in bands writing and recording music since high school. Moving to Los Angeles in his early 20’s he formed his own band called ‘November’ which he fronted for nearly a decade. Not wanting to get locked into any one particular sound this time, the flexible concept of Alphanaut has allowed Mark to move freely with each album release touching on everything from 80s inspired art rock to lush orchestral works, ambient and even jazz.

Mark has been honored to have his work licensed in feature films and television both in the US and Europe, including the song “Don’t Hide Away From the Sun” which was used during the closing credits of the film “Stag Night”.

Last year's album release "Meanwhile Back on Earth", a modern electronic-pop collection inspired by sounds from the 60s, 70s, 80s and now, is followed by a new album of instrumental pieces called 'Ethers and Abstractions'. A new pop EP is in the works with a single due out at the end of the year.
