  • Grant Farm

    Grant Farm

Cosmic-Americana band Grant Farm has entertained an ever-growing fan base since its founding in 2009 by vocalist and National Flatpicking Guitar Champion Tyler Grant. Based in Boulder, Colorado, the free-spirited, creative group is comprised of “some of the ablest musicians not only in the state of Colorado, but in the nation,” wrote Daniel Mescher, of Colorado Public Radio. Players include Grant (“The Champ”), Adrian “Ace” Engfer (bass and vocals), Sean “Magic” Macaulay (drums) and Kevin “Money” McHugh (keys and vocals).

The group calls its latest release, Kiss the Ground (June 10, 2016), an “ode to the working people.” It sends a positive message while acknowledging real hardship in a society that expects too much. Highlights of the band-written LP include Grant’s “Get In Line,” which discusses the high price we pay for the life we want and “Fill Your Cup,” a call to make the most of life.  Kiss The Ground is currently charting on JamBand Radio Chart.

The band has also created the exciting Meeting on the Mountain LIVE, a collaborative live webcast concert experience featuring Grant Farm as the house band and Tyler Grant as host. GrantFarm.net

Their brand of  “Cosmic Americana” evokes the Grateful Dead’s rootsy side, coupling searing telecaster with swirling organ, country drum shuffles and big three-part vocal harmonies. Their energetic, danceable mix has made them a staple of the Northwest festival circuit, but their third studio album, Kiss the Ground, falls a little short of capturing the group’s onstage energy.-Missoula Independent

“Kiss the Ground, … tunes shifted to the rock end of the spectrum. Colors  is a sweetly twangy number that evokes Luther Perkins or Chet Atkins for the guitar solos”-Twangville.com

  • Amy Black

    Amy Black

Amy Black has always been drawn to soul singers. But it wasn’t until she began exploring her own southern soul roots for her last album, The Muscle Shoals Sessions, that she found her musical sweet spot — and knew her next stop had to be the place where blues and soul converge (and where she herself was conceived); where Al Green, Otis Redding and so many others turned grit and groove into some of the world’s most beloved tunes. Black then hunted down several top musical architects to help her lay down the sound she was meant to make — the sound of Memphis. Releasing June 2, 2017 on her own Reuben Records, Memphis puts Black — already considered “a bluesy, R&B heavy hitter” by Elmore magazine — on the same continuum as soul sisters from Dusty Springfield, Ann Peebles and Mavis Staples to Bonnie Raitt and Shelby Lynne. The result is pure and authentic —and she wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • Edge Of The West

    Edge Of The West

Edge of the West is a rock n' roots honky tonk jamband. Their catchy, quirky originals and outlaw hippie sound strikes a chord with lovers of alt-country, Americana & the Grateful Dead. The live shows rock. The group writes strong originals and draws from a deep well of eclectic covers, never playing the same show twice. Since the release of their acclaimed debut record in 2016, they have toured steadily throughout the West Coast, Alaska and Hawaii. This all-star band features members of Great American Taxi, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Todd Snider, David Nelson Band & more. When playing together these guys have a ton of fun, as does the audience. Just try and sit still. Across the canyon we hear drums in the distance. Notes From the underground drift like smoke signals to a strange yet familiar place, where new friends and old come together to share good times.
