  • Liis

Liis is a percussive-acoustic group out of Los Angeles. The complex, lyrically driven songwriting is brought to life by the percussive beats created by the dynamic use of the guitar. The visual performance of the band captivate the audience, with a tonal quality that fits flawlessly into the dichotomy created by atypical beats and song structures. Liis released their first single this past summer and is currently in the studio recording an EP.

  • Julian Ward

    Julian Ward

Julian Ward is an aspiring singer-songwriter with a minimal ensemble but an enormous performance. He began his musical interests at an early age, spending hours tinkering on the piano after school and devoting his time learning the instrument. After inheriting a guitar in middle school, he joined his first band and performed at local fairs and festivals. During high school, he worked on many projects further experimenting with his musical finesse, including performing as a bassist for his high school’s jazz band.

Now he wishes to continue his path into the world of music. Steeping into the LA music scene, he has played in venues including the famous Whisky A Go-Go with his band Jackrabbit Jade. He aims to diversify his talents by exploiting various styles of music. In his repertoire you can hear the styling of rock infused with pop, jazz, folk, R&B, and many more. Aside from musical diversity, he likes to keep his shows interesting by instilling life and energy into every song, giving his audience a unique experience. Despite being a one-man act, Julian can liven his show with the spirit of a full band.

  • Jorgie

First off, I would like to thank all of the creatives that have helped with this project.  I moved to LA in 2015 with the hope of pursuing a career in music. I was lucky enough to have met talented musicians and artists such as Drake Peterson, Ben Ginsberg, Dino Nama and Lacy Rostyak.  With their help, my music has been given life.
Because I am here on a student visa from Israel, I am only allowed to go to school and volunteer.  Right when I moved to Los Angeles, I got the privilege of being part of an organization that works with the homeless on Skid Row by providing them with food and basic medical supplies. When I am not in class or in the studio, I am out helping the homeless community 5 days a week. Every day I am inspired to make my voice bigger louder and stronger for people who were dealt a very bad hand.
My debut single “Love Me Back” was released recently, and is available on iTunes, amazon and more. Best of all, I just released the official music video for it, which can be seen here (link). Stay tuned for more shows and releases throughout the summer!

    Runson Willis III

He never misses a note. With over 10 years of experience with the guitar combined with his extensive performing and touring record, Runson Willis III is finally ready to embark on his solo career. The Los Angeles based artist, calls on his idles, Isaac Hayes, Aretha Franklin, Willie Guthrie and Willie Nelson as constant reminder of the level of greatness he is working toward. With roots in the deep south, you can hear the soul in every lyric he sings and note he plays.
Runson is geared up and ready to bring his music to the world! From his own words:
“this guitar is noisy, beat up and it may have a lot of scratches on it. But it’s true, it's lasted    a long time and it hasn’t gone anywhere. And I think it’s like me.”
