Maya Jenkins, also known as simply ‘Maya J’ in the music world, is the
epitome of youthful sass, talent, class, and optimistic mantras such as “Stay
Sparkly!”. The upbeat actress and pop singer born in Los Angeles, California, is
the one who coined the expression.
Although her days as an adult young woman just barely began, she is wise
beyond her years, understanding the true meaning of work ethic, dedication, and
inner strength. The performer was born with the gift of music, and then later on
ventured into the art of acting.
In 2014, Maya was cast in HBO’s short film, Muted, and acted alongside actors
Chandra Wilson and Malcom Jamall Warner. She has been seen on comedy
segments with AwesomenessTV, and on Tru Tv’s sketch comedy show, You Can Do
Better as a guest. She has been talented and fortunate enough to act in many short
films, and continues work in films, TV movies, and improv shows.
In 2016, after a long wave of writing lyrics and musical compositions, she finally
recorded and released her first single, Symptoms of You, on December 2nd.
The song was written in its entirety and produced by Maya Jenkins, and co-
produced by musicians DaveSor, Anna “Analog” Feller, and Kevin Feller. The
piano track, as well as vocals were recorded at Interscope Records recording
studios in Santa Monica, CA. Maya has stated that she wrote the song in 2015,
and that it took over a year to complete.

Jennifer Leitham: Jennifer Leitham is a career Jazz musician, and has been a professional musician for over 40 years. She is known for playing for many famous dead people, among them Mel Torme’, Peggy Lee, George Shearing, Woody Herman, Benny Carter, Louis Bellson, and a horde of others you wouldn’t have heard of. She’s also played for some who are still alive, Doc Severinsen, and k.d. lang just to name two.
Dion Neuble: Dion Nueble is a Los Angeles based drummer. A versatile player most noted for his drum sampling, Dion has worked with major Hip-Hop artists like Snoop Dogg, Daz Dillinger, Lauryn Hill and many more. His intricate rhythms and ability to coax dope beats from s small set are among his greatest musical strengths.
