    The Neighborhood Bullys

Formed in 2002, The Neighborhood Bullys are a Los Angeles band of eclectic musical masterminds; featuring singer / bass player Davey Meshell, lead guitarist Greg West, rhythm guitarist Zach Jones, who also provides soulful backing vocals. It's this element that elevates the Bullys beyond a regular rock band and gives them a Lou Rawls with Sam Cooke dynamic...and on drums is the hardest working Viking in Rock 'N Roll; Reijo Repa Kauppila.
The Bullys music oozes authenticity and sincerity. In modern terms their sound is comparable to Kings of Leon but with an underlying aesthetic of Iggy Pop and New York Dolls, mixed with an earthy slab of Mary Wells and Otis Redding, and a tinge of the pop sensibility of The Cars – hence the term they so lovingly use to describe themselves ‘Punk Soul’.
"Early punk with likeness to The Stooges blues rockings emulating the Stones, and, not to throw you over the bridge, a ballad that screams of Motown/Stax influence” - The Deli
“The Neighborhood Bullys come equipped with creatively crafted songs and the instrumental talent to perform them at a professional level” - Music Connection Magazine
"The best * band in Los Angeles" - Chris Morris (Billboard / Hollywood Reporter Writer)

Ray Goren & the Generation Blues Experience

Hailed by music critics as a must-see explosive performer, Ray Goren’s “Save My Soul” EP released last winter has been on theRoot’s charts for four months now, peaking at number 13 on list of Contemporary Blues\Rock Albums. At the same time  Ray and his original music were featured on the home page of Guitar World on June 23, 2014. Not bad for a young artist who is self-releasing his music.
Rather than boasting, it is best to let the critics tell us in their own voice about Ray:
Chicago Sun Times music critic Thomas Conner wrote after Ray’s performance on the main stage at opening night of the 2013 Chicago Blues Festival  “Ray Goren stepped up Thursdaynight and ripped out a guitar solo that would have made some hairs fall out of Stevie Ray Vaughan's soul patch”.
After seeing Ray open for BB King in Monterey, reviewer Jason Debord wrote on
[Ray] is a real phenomenon, and you sit there not believing what you are seeing and hearing…  It was really one of the most unbelievable moments I’ve experienced at any concert.  Amazing.”
Renowned Chicago Tribune music critic Howard Reich:
No one rattles the place like Ray Goren, from the Los Angeles area. He plays electric guitar — and sings — with a fluency, ease and depth of expression that defy easy explanation”.
But it is  not just about the live performances, Ray’s original music has received significant praise it has been played on XM Satellite radio and numerous stations the USA. Also, his song "Save my Soul" has been played on regular rotations on most rock stations in New Zealand and was recently picked to be among the top 100 hottest songs in New Zealand by the RocksFM, the leading radio stations conglomerate in that country  Ax Entertainment music review hailed Ray Goren as one of the ten best independent artists of summer of 2014 while Pop Dose picked Ray’s EP as one of the top ten ”steller standouts… of the hundreds of EPs that have landed on my desk as of late…”
It is no wonder that Ray has worked with some of the biggest names in music such as Hall of Famers Robby Krieger and Leon Russell as well as the acclaimed Eddie Kramer (Hendrix, Kiss) and famed drummer producer Steve Jordan (John Mayer, Robert Cray, Boz Scaggs).
Come see for yourself. A listen is worth a thousand words.

  • AeB

Reverberating from jazz festivals to gritty pubs, yoga retreats to all-night fire parties on downtown rooftops, Adrienne "Aeb" Byrne is a force of nature on her latest self-titledrelease.

The City Of Angels resident musical mad scientist, Aeb effortlessly blends classic piano songwriting with saucy pop and ethereal flute work to craft songs that are equal parts Fiona Apple and Beck, with all the swagger of Amy Winehouse with the esoteric experimentation of Radiohead.

On this outing, Aeb, (herself a classically trained jazz musician who cut her teeth with alongside contemporary jazz greats Duane Eubanks, Ronnie Burrage and the late Sid Simmons), flirts between sexy, solo piano bar songstress and balls to the wall funky rock with her backing band of classic rock royalty.

A gorgeous mess of sonic pop mayhem, Aeb is equally at home when it's just Byrne ripping up solo sets, or with her band - Eric Ward (Marvin Gaye) and Evan Stone (The Translucent Ham Sandwich Band), who back Aeb in crafting those fat, soul-rock grooves that complement her smart songwriting.

Though you may find Aeb on any given night knocking down musical walls at some of L.A.'s hottest clubs - Byrne has also backed and shared the stage with many a musical icon, including Robby Krieger (The Doors), Alex Lifeson (Rush), Tommy Thayer (Kiss), Alice Cooper, Danny Seraphine (Chicago), Sebastian Bach (Skid Row) and Phil Chen (Rod Stewart, Jeff Beck).

This Summer, Aeb will be touring in support of her upcoming EP
