  • Free Dominguez

    Free Dominguez

Originally from Texas, multi-talented Free Dominguez (co-founder of the internationally acclaimed band, kidneythieves) credits her gypsy-like upbringing to the artist she is today. The singer with the Cuban/Spanish heritage has been described as both a “storyteller” and a “true, versatile, honest” artist. In 2002, the kidneythieves released the critically-acclaimed song “Before I’m Dead” from the Queen of the Damned soundtrack, which attracted a worldwide loyal fan-base and cult-like following. Due to their popularity, kidneythieves had the honor to share the stage and tour with such acts as Unwritten Law, Sevendust, KMFDM, Tommy Lee, and The Used. Dominguez has also toured internationally and collaborated with electronica act Conjure One (joining Rhys Fulber’s past roster that includes Sinead O’Connor and Poe). Currently, her solo live shows evolve depending on the accompanying musicians, sometimes utilizing a beatboxer and sound effects, which morph the songs into the moment. "It is important to me to let the live interpretation be defined by everyone on stage. Too much planning can ruin the live experience." Dominguez wrote her first song at the age of six ("It was very dark," she laughs). Her early musical influences included powerful female singers such as Annie Lennox, Stevie Nicks, Ann Wilson, and musical tastes from metal to soul, electronica to hip hop. 2013 has been a big year for Dominguez, with a song on the best-selling video game soundtrack “Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance,” new kidneythieves tracks, and a collaboration with some of the biggest names in hip hop to be announced later this year. This will be the first show to celebrate her massively kickstarted (over $50k) “VOLCANO+THE SEA,” (co-written by guitarist Static of “Ours” and produced by 2x Grammy winner, J.J. Blair) which is out now and can be purchased at (www.freedominguez.com) and listen to the album at (www.freedominguez.bandcamp.com).

    Sierra Swan

Sierra Swan embodies the true spirit of a musical artist. She’s had major label deals and major label drops. Through it all Sierra doesn’t miss a beat. It is now that she has decided to make her most personal record yet with her dear friend Billy Corgan, who will be stepping in the producers chair for this project. They met years ago while he was helping Courtney Love with her album at Linda Perry’s studio. They developed a fast friendship and mutual admiration for each other and their music. In her own words: “We remained friends and he has become a huge emotional support in all aspects of my life. When I played him some of my latest demos his response was really positive.” So much so that he decided to produce her next record, which he has not done with another artist in over a decade. In Billy’s words “Sierra’s new songs are the best batch of material I have heard from any Songwriter in forever.” They are set to start recording later this Spring. Fans of both artists are waiting to see what kind of magic they will create together.

  • Echocell

    Echocell

Echocell's sound is a combination of trip-hop and synth pop (think Depeche Mode, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Sia and Goldfrapp sharing cup of Turkish coffee). After taking a wise sabbatical aimed at assimilating new sounds, meeting new faces around the world, and reshaping Echocell, Belinda Kazanci (singer, songwriter) and Adam Beltran (songwriter, keyboards, programmer) have propelled their music into the future. Their project started in Los Angeles in 2000. Babylon’s chemistry is an instant winning formula. Arranged by two different producers, the EP ended up with a stellar result. The part produced and arranged by Italian film composer, Simone Giuliani, evokes decadent cinematic scenes which reflects strongly in songs like 'Wide Awake', while 'Babylon', arranged by Wax LTD, the production and songwriting team of Wally Gagel and Xandy Barry known for their works with Orbit, Muse, Lenka, New Order, Metric, Sebadoh and many more blended with 80’s synthpop fragments, provide a quick, dark glimpse into a world that might not yet exist.

Set Times:
  • 08:00 PM - Paz Lenchantin
  • 09:00 PM - Sierra Swan
  • 10:00 PM - Free Dominguez
  • 11:30 PM - Echocell
